Witchbrook - The wait is nearly over!

Calling all magic-loving gamers! If you've been eyeballing Witchbrook and awaiting its release, your wait is nearly over. It looks like Witchbrook has a release date estimated for the end of the year. If it drops around Halloween, they couldn't have planned it better, in my opinion.

As you can see in the announcement trailer, this absolutely charming game has all kinds of fun things planned. While attending Witchbrook college, you'll be setting up a business, participating in seasonal events, and designing your cottage/garden to make all your witchy vibes come true.

I, personally, am very excited to see the customization options in the characters, cottage, and garden. It's cozy and cute, and the fact that it has magic as well makes this one of my most hopefuls for the year.

It vibes like Studio Ghibli.

Apparently one of Chucklefish's focuses in making this game was highlighting the magic in the mundane world around us link. This, on top of its visuals, reminds me somehow of Studio Ghibli. I am even more excited now than I was when I first learned of the game. I remain hopefully optimistic of a late 2025 release, or early 2026.
